J&E Companies is a sheet metal and fabrication company. We are a leader in the sheet metal and fabrication industry. We currently have an immediate need for a Versatile candidate who can set up and operate Press Brake for our Lakeville location.

-Set up and operate press brake machines and other equipment as required.

-Run forming operations using standard and custom punches.

-Use a CNC controller to input information into a machine that pertains to the part being formed.

-Adjust ram and back gauge positions as needed

- Checks height, depth, and thickness using calipers, gauges, and other precision-measuring instruments.

-Perform complex programming using all features of the press brake.

-Work with customer tolerances to meet specifications.

- Meet customer specifications and delivery requirements.

-Perform spot inspections of parts.

-Perform general maintenance on press brakes as needed

- Complete and maintain paperwork.

-Configure bend allowances for sheet metal (stainless, aluminum & regular steel).

-Ensure the machine is calibrated and cleaned.

-Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.

Three years of experience with setting up and operating Press Brake.

- High school diploma or equivalent.

-Three years of experience in a metal manufacturing environment

-Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

- Ability to use measuring instruments (e. g. gauges, micrometers, calipers).

-Must be able to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to machining problems.

-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

- Ability to stand the entire shift

-Requires routine lifting, bending, leaning, kneeling, etc.

-Manufacturing facility

-Noise levels can be high depending on the job being run
